Just a quick opinion. We've still got a new rope and a tall oak tree waiting for Ms. Spears. Love to find out how much it cost her management in royalties just to do that lame cover. Blackheart has owned the copyrights since 1982. I'm sure Joan is crying all the way to the bank.

I believe that making Britney do a cover a song like that has been a smart move from her management because it's such a famous and classic song, it was going to cause interest or curiosity in people in positive or negative. I watched the video and it makes me laugh, as far as the Britney vocal version... pleeeeeease! I respect the ones who can like Spears though I don't, but I have to admit she knows how to use her moment of success. In some way she reminds me of Madonna, who also is a smart business woman I think, though I always liked very little of what she's done

It was so bad, some of Joan's east coast fanbase threatened to cap l'il Brit's bottle for her, but as with all personal furors, it calmed down. And the most humorous part of the entire was when Britney Spaniel was asked how she liked doing a cover of such a famous rock and roll anthym, her reply was and I'm serious, "I just love Pat Benatar's music." That girl may be rich, but she's dumber than a box of rocks. Almost burned down a whole 5 star hotel floor a couple years ago. Good job, Brit. That'll light their fire. She left a candle burning right next to the wall and left the room. She also once made the comment that her favorite part of her career was going overseas to different countries, like Canada. No, I didn't make that up. She actually said it. That's enough Britney humor for the day. I don't want anybody to keel over from a laughing attack on such a nice holiday.

I think it never fits to Mrs. Spears. She should have done something else. Who believes her singing "I love rock'n'roll" ?
And when you see some videos of her or even Ms. Aguillera (right spell???) - it reminds me of Lita, she done it years before and looks great, too.
Anything has been done before, but nobody seems to remember!
