How did you become a fan of Cherie?

Once upon a time waaaaaaaaaaaaay back in 1976 i was listning to the radio top 20... First place that week was a band called The Runaways with a song called Cherry Bomb !!!!!!!!!!
WOW i was blown away... Well i thought it was Suzi Quatro at first. Hey i was 13 years old remember. So i went to the record store a bought it. WOW the pictures inside.. I went for the whole album.... They diden't have the 45 anyway..
I loved it and since im also i blonde bomb shell i tought i was Cherie from that day..... I lost track for about 20 years. Got into Madonna for 20 years. I still love Madonna, but Cherie is my nr one. I went back to my roots again you could say.
I used to have everything of Runaways and the solo work from Cherie and Joan on vinyl... But i sold it 15 years ago. Now im buying it all back again. I do have everything on CD now... And the Neon Angel book from Cherie is like the bible for me....
I know now that Cherie will alvays be my nr one and the Runaways nr 2. Cherie is my nr one because i can see myself in so much in what she has been true.... Drugs, abuse, child abuse, being pretty and being used.... Raped and beaten....
So that's pretty much it really.........

Ok so a little bird told me that people on this board was kinda wondering over my post in this topic... About the abuse, rape and drugs.. Since i sad that i feelt kinda like Cherie because i could relate to that.. OHHHHHHH does this come out right ?????

Ah, ain't ya just a sweetie. I may hafta steal you away one of these days. Probably should answer the original post. Lemme see, I was informed of Cherie's new site by another member of the infamous Bad Reputation Nation of which I've been a proud member for 22 years. It kinda went from there. This is a fun site with a sweetie for a moderator. The one with the crystal blue eyes that sings, "Cherry Bomb !" That one. And I'm relearning what a scuzbag Kim Fowley still is. I'd think he would have grown up a little by now, but apparently not. That's another story.
