Did you know that Harry Houdini wrote short stories, novelettes and one act plays?
Well, he did!

This CD contains four radio shows adapted by Patrick Culliton from short stories written by the legendary Harry Houdini. It stars the voices of Robert (Airplane, Starman) Hays, David (Kung Fu, Kill Bill) Carradine, Cherie (the Runaways, Foxes) Currie, Michael (Dark Shadows) Cavanaugh, Nicholas (Amadeus) Kepros, and Allan (the Donkey Serenade) Jones. Also featured are John Barrymore III, and T. A. (Mind, Myth, and Mentalism) Waters and the Magical Arts Players with music by Patrick Gogerty and Prof. David E. Bourne's Dawn of the Century Ragtime Orchestra.

This is a limited edition offer on eBay by Patrick Culliton, himself!
I think I got the first one but I see that he keeps re-listing them!

I just listened to "Dan Cupid - Magician" which was first published in the February 20, 1909 issue of the Magician Magazine.

Starring:

Helen Morgan - Cherie Currie
Frank Williams - Robert Hays
Thorley - Nicolas Kepros
Senator Morgan - Douglas Botnick
Hortense - Tracey Williams
Houdini - Patrick Culliton

This is a lovely love story! firstsight Cherie and Robert are excellent together!

Talk about a CCool surprise but there is no date on this "new" CD.

Hey Cherie! When did you and Robert tape this awesome radio show?

Well, I'm going to listen again now...
Catch ya later,

I got the same CD on E-Bay not too long ago. I was so excited. I have listened to the story with Cherie, but not the rest of it yet. Worth the purchase price!

He is running short auctions, one after the other, on eBay but he also has a set sale price on them.

I think you will enjoy it NYJ!!!

I know I do!

Any fan of the Irwin Allen Shows (Voyage to the Bottom Of The Sea, Land of The Giants, Time Tunnel) know Patrick Culliton very well since he's been a regular on those shows....

Culliton is also a Professional Magician and is a follower of Houdini...

Me and Mr. Erich Weiss aka Harry Houdini belonged to the same Fraternal Order (Freemasons)

I guess this CD is no longer available on eBay. At least when I've checked anyway!

I couldn't find it on Amazon.com either.

A very limited offer maybe?!?!

Anyone seen the Houdini's Strange Tales CD anywhere?

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I'm glad I bought one of these when I did.

Can't find it anywhere now!

I am still wondering when the story with Cherie and Robert was recorded!
I'm guessing it was fairly recently though!

More later,
