Announcing Upcoming Interview with Cherie for Femm

Hi, everybody,
Mara has kindly allowed me to share the news with all of Cherie's fans and friends here at the board that, if all goes as planned, I will be interviewing Cherie in late October for an upcoming story on her life and career for the nationally distributed film magazine, Femme Fatales. I have followed Cherie's career for several years and I believe that a comprehensive look at all her film and musical endeavors is long overdue. I'm very much looking forward to meeting her and working with her on this project as I've been told by associates in the business that Cherie is among the nicest, warmest and sweetest people they've met. I want to invite everyone to feel free to email me at [email protected] to let me know if there are specific areas of Cherie's career that you'd like me to address when she sits down to talk with me.Your ideas and suggestions are welcomed and NEEDED as it's important to me that I deliver the type of story on Cherie's career that will please her and everyone who loves her and her work.The only way that will be possible is for me to seek out the information that is most compelling to those who have followed her journey closely through the years. I'd like to thank Mara and Cherie for agreeing to allow me to interview her for the magazine and I promise to do the best damn job I can to bring Cherie her well-deserved "moment in the sun". I'd like to know how Cherie made the jump from singing to acting. Did she always want to be an actress too, or did she just kind of fall into it?

Jod6cindy, I don't think you can avoid the persistent controversies among the Runaways, especially Jackie Fox's broadside against Cherie's book. Even if Cherie is gracious and declines comment, you've got to go after it. It's out there. Whatever questions you ask, good luck with your story and congratulations for getting the interview.
