i bloody well enjoyed the American Girls album i did i did!! still listen to it (in an 80s retro jam) and even include a few of their songs ('Goodbye and Amen' & 'Androgynous') on tape comps.
so imagine my delight when i saw this very substantial American Girls page. please share in my enjoyment!:

Did you know that Janet Robin from Precious Metal filled in as lead guitarist for them? Yup, went on a month long tour with them...Brie returned the favor by singing back-ups on the girls' third album. The American Girls were a fun band indeed!
