By the way, if anyone wants to get in on this with your own "who am I's", feel free, go for it, don't be shy, just jump right in, etc., etc.

Is #2 Sally Field as the flying Nun? I don't know if she is short or not.

The first one is Ironside starring Raymond Burr!

I preferred him as Perry Mason but Ironside was cool too!

I think you hit that Flying Nun nail on the head, Rog. Sally Fields is a tiny little thing. That's why she could fly if she tilted her headgear into the wind, just right!

I've always been a big Gidget fan!

Ironside it is.

These went down quick, next time I shall have to come up with ones a wee bit harder.

In the meantime, again this is an open game, if anyone has any of their own, post 'em if you got 'em.

Well, to take a guess on the first one, would the series be the Andy Griffith Show? Don't have a clue on who the character is.

The second series has to be McHales Navy, been a long time snce i've seen this series. I know it starred Ernest Borgnine, Tim Conway, and Gavin MacLeod, amongst others who's name I don't remember. Including the name of the character you're looking for. Do I get points for getting half of this one?

The last one I've got both answers to. The series was Newhart, and you would be Darryl. Unless you're the other brother Darryl? I liked the way they ended the series, same way they wiped out that season of Dallas, what a nightmare.

You are right about the first one being the Andy Griffith Show!
The character in question had a recurring role!

You are also right about the second show being McHale's Navy!
All I need is the character's first name here.

And you are correct about the third show being Newhart
and the blonde Darrell is the one I had in mind but his dark haired brother Darrell was also acceptable.
I loved that final episode of this show and the way Bob told Emily she should consider wearing more sweaters!

Early 60's....Name the character and the show!

-I like throwing rocks through windows and rhyming my words. I drive the local sheriff and his sidekick deputy crazy every time I come to town!

Early to mid-60's....Name the character and the show!

-I was a prisoner of war but I never had it so good! My American Navy friends were always in some kind of trouble but somehow managed to keep me a secret!

Early 80's....Name the character and the show!

-I don't talk much on this show. My brother does most of the talking when we do ODD jobs for a local innkeeper. Anything for a buck!

As McCloud might say...There ya go!
