Hi, I've been following Cherie's career since the Runaways. I never heard her say much about working on Murder She Wrote. I'm wondering what it was like to work with Angela Lansbury. I kind of picture her as a big mother figure, taking everyone under her wing and serving the cast hot tea with biscuits and lemon, but I know sometimes the veneer these Hollywood types give project are not always true to life. Maybe she's really more like Sister George (anybody see that film?) Just curious Cherie.

Sorry for the double post. I was trying to edit my original post, but don't know how.

Hey, Who Do You Think We Are?
Is that a rhetorical screen name?
Welcome to the board! I, personally don't know anything about Angela Lansbury.
I do love the 'It's A Dog's Life' episode of Murder She Wrote though, 4 sure!

Thanks for the Welcome Gus! I?ve dropped by here a few times over the months and decided to post.
Who Do You Think We Are? is not a question, it?s an old rock song I fancy.
Of course YOU wouldn?t know anything about the great Angela Lansbury, you SAG-card deprived silly goose! The question was clearly for Cherie, if you read my second post, but thank you all the same.
By the way, since I see Ms. Cherie at times reads/responds I?d like my posts to be in tip-top form. Is there a way for me to go in and edit my posts?

It's the Alice Cooper song offa Special Forces, right? Ever since Dada, never could get into any of Coopers music the same way again.

That's the one. Cooper's albums have been much better from The Last Temptation through present (Dirty Diamonds), though there's only about 2 to 3 keepers on each. There's a made-for-TV think done that was filmed in Paris to promote Special Forces that's out on DVD, but I can't find anyplace that sells it. Too bad, Alice looks uber-freakish throughout, like the walking corpse of some military general done up in drag.
Just to keep on topic, has Cherie ever worked with the Coop?

Hey I have heard Ms. Lansbury isn't always, the LOVLIEST of actresses (too put it nicely). I know someone in the indusry and that's just what they told me. But you know how all that kind of gossip stuff goes. Just my two cents! I know I am not the Goddess Cherie and she is the one you wanted to answer the question...so peace out!

I can clearly see where I flubbed up WDYTWA in that I read your first post and sort of skimmed the second.
Wanted to welcome you aboard mainly so no harm, no fowl, eh?!?!
Sorry the board is not set up to allow editing of posts!
Later,
Gus

Cluck, Cluck, Cluck. It's just a henhouse of rumor & gossip, ain't it?
Yeah, and I have a buddy in a crowd shot on a Stallone pic (a Vancouver shoot). Sez Sly would fly into a hissy-fit if anyone looked him in the eyes. Fuckin wuss...
