A very well acted chapter in Fight Club explains how soap was origionally made (which is factually correct), but I agree with you. In this day and age, it's weird to buy it now. I guess it's no different than when someone posed on EBay to sell an actual body part from Keanu Reeves (it wasn't really Keanu's and the guy was sued), and it actually had bids before it was taken off. It's sick what people will buy.

This idea is really growing on me...celebrity fatted soap, heh heh.
A few years ago Corey Haim tried to sell his own tooth on Ebay, he was really desperate for money. Ebay pulled it saying that body parts are not allowed, not even a tooth. Hmmph, but they allow animal parts. I've seen monkey heads and taxidermy things.
