With her accomplishments in recording AND motion pictures she definitely deserves one. Someone should start a petition to get her one! Just a thought....

I hate to mention this, but there's also a matter of $25,000. (Last I heard they've raised it from $15,000)
People who are voted in have to pay this amount to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which I believe goes for maintaining the Walk of Fame. Sometimes it's raised by the fans, sometimes it's paid for by the celebrity, and sometimes by a 3rd party sharing the benefits of the promotion.
I'll take a hammer to my Piggy Bank at a moments notice!

Oh don't even get me started on this subject - her star on the walk of fame is so frickin overdue - it just makes me mad.
