Cherie's dear friend Annabella Lwin of Bow Wow Wow will be joining us at the Spooky House/NecroComicon Autograph Convention at the end of this month. I'm thoroughly excited about this, can you tell? I LOVE HER!!!! We're working on our big fat newsletter at the moment with all the details of this and Cherie's full fall schedule of appearances. I didn't know that Cherie and Annabella Lwin were friends. I saw Bow Wow Wow play live back in the early eighties and it was an amazing show - such energy from the whole band. That group should have been huge; I still can't fully understand to this day why not, though I know that in the UK around that time there was a backlash against Malcolm McLaren, and Bow Wow Wow were portrayed as his invention. Such a shame that they should suffer because of his crass attention grabbing tactics.
I used to have a video of them playing at an outdoor concert which was superb; unfortunately when I was living in a student flat the students upstairs flooded their bathroom and half of my video collection was soaked and ruined. I can't remember now where it was recorded. Anyone any ideas?
