    Question

    Cherie~
My boyfriend (who is apparently obsessed with you) has the 'Live in Japan' cd, and he noticed you shouting out something on 'C'mon' at 1:22. It sort of sounds like 'Dvah!' or whatever. He would be oh so grateful (and I would come off as such a wonderful girlfriend!) if you would reply and let us know what you actually said at that moment on that song. Thanks!!!

That's a cool word. Thanks Dave!

Konichiwa (pronounced: koh NEECH ee wah). A greeting, roughly `how are you'.

Konichiwa to you, too! Can somebody please please please tell me what Cherie is saying at 1:22 on 'C'Mon' on the Live in Japan cd (sounds like "dvah")??? My boyfriend (who continues his obsession) really wants to know--not only what she was saying, but also if she always said this particular word during performances of the song, how she was feeling when she said it, etc. Apparently "dvah" is some kind of weird aphrodisiac to intellectual Japanese linguists with punk and anarchistic leanings. Pretty please help me!!! Domo arigato!

I can't tell. It sort of sounds like she's saying GIVE IT UP but probably not.
Maybe someone else, with better equipment can hear it better!

I couldn't find any information about the weird aphrodisiac to intellectual Japanese linguists with punk and anarchistic leanings, although I googled it, so I doubt she was saying anything about that!

    Good luck!
