Good magazine, that. I'll have to keep checking it out.

I'm always saddened when I read that the Runaways European tour was such an ordeal for Cherie, especially when the show I saw was (and still is) such a special event for me.

Since Cherie still looks the same as she did back then,[wish i still did!! lol] Just change her hairstyle back and she should play herself. I just dont see any actresses out there now who could play these ballsy chicks and do them justice.How many can sing and handle a chainsaw too? Come to think of it, some have always said my singing sounds like a chainsaw!lol

Hey gang! I'm new to the party here, but a longtime fan of Cherie Currie. [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

The Runaways came along the same time as puberty, so that was a match made in Heaven. [img]wink.gif[/img] It was a sad day when Cherie left the band, but thankfully she has soldiered on to this day. Sad also, that with the passing of Sandy West, we will never see a complete reunion of that great original band. [img]graemlins/cry.gif[/img]

Anyway, it's nice to see there are many others who appreciate this great lady. It looks like you've developed a nice little family of admirers here.

Thanks for the link to the interview...it's always nice to get a little news about Cherie!

Yes indeed, this board has been a place for Cherie's friends/fans to congregate, for about 8 year now.
Cherie is wonderful and joins us whenever she can!
We've had tons of fun and shared moments of sorrow too.
It's nice to have you join us as time marches on!

We ARE expecting a major change, in the very near future. Hostboard is switching to an all new system (HB3) which you can read about on this topic.
HB3 Update - The Countdown has begun!

It's going to be a period of transition, for sure. I believe this entire board, including the 8 years of archived topics, will be transferred over and I'm hoping it'll be smooth sailing.

If necessary, I hope everyone will re-register and the good times will continue to roll, into the future!
