Yup, they all showed up, some soon thereafter, some a little later but we were having a good chat, even though not a single girl (or a married one for that matter) dropped by.

Our chat room discoarse was all over the map, centering at times, on things like computer problems, Spice Girls, botulism, ambient feedback and distortion, WROG radio, other forums and chat rooms and persnickety moderators!

Oh, I'm sure the fun would have increased ten-fold, or more, if even one PartyGrrrl had been there but, like I sometimes say, the happiest people don't necessarily have the best of everything, they just make the best of everything they have.

And that we did, until about 10:30 (message board time) at which time the parting was such sweet sorrow, I can not put it into words, in my present state of mind!

Hey Gregg, I told you I'd re-watch that Eric Clapton interview because we were wondering about the circumstances surrounding the death of his son in 1991.

FYI, he was still married to Patty when Connor was born and was never married to Laurie (the child's mom) at all. They had split up beforehand and were living seperate lives but they both happened to be visiting New York, at the time of the tragedy, staying in different hotels.
The boy fell out the window of his mom's hotel room, not Eric's.
The window apparently cantilevered open, from top to bottom, for cleaning purposes and wasn't properly secured. It was ruled a death by misadventure.

So sad!

I am here to tell you there was. I could only attend for about an hour, but I can assure you, there was a chat going on, when I arrived and it was still going on when I left.
