It was a Joan Jett and The Blackhearts show on November 7, 2006
at the Henry Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles where Cherie joined Joan
to do a tribute to Sandy West for a brief moment during the show.
Hey I found a pic of Cherie and Joan on stage together around 2006, I posted it on the godmother site, but I didn't know after they're 2001 reunion that they hit the stage together again! Anyone know about this? I wanna hear the story!

Hey Cherie Peeps!
Besides the two YouTube videos I posted links to on the "Sandy and Cherie" topic:
C'MON
YouTube - Cmon - Cherie Currie and Sandy West
CALIFORNIA PARADISE
YouTube - California Paradise - Cherie Currie and Sandy West
there is also this one:
SINCE YOU'VE BEEN GONE
YouTube - Since You've Been Gone - Cherie and Marie Currie
They are all from Cherie's GOLDEN APPLE video, which is available through her web shop!
Of coarse the first two videos include Sandy West on drums and the third one features
Cherie and Marie, doing their hit from their 1980 MESSIN' WITH THE BOYS album!
Other "special guests" at this "in store" appearance, circa 1999, include Katt Lowe, Bruce Gary,
Julie Regans, Craig Doucett, Joey Brasler, Gi Gi Worth, Rodney Bingenheimer, Jan Swan and Tina Lukather!
It's a great show by Cherie Currie and her Blue Canyon Band, for sure & a must have, in my opinion!
Thanks to kpdave for putting these three videos on YouTube.
I think I'll go watch the whole eleven song video now!
CCatch ya later,

Cherie seems to be having tons of fun with Gretchen, singing The Cars' song "Just What I Needed" for sure!!!Gretchen invited me to come see her new band, Ankhsenamen, at girlbar. Gretchen always does a good show and she always wants me to video and take pics. The audio isn't great, but you can see how much fun it was for sure. And yes I have all permissions to post this.
A special thanks to Steven Wishnoff for posting this video up on YouTube!

The log was debarked first. That happened in the preshow, which wasn't filmed. In approximately 30-40 minutes this piece of wood will become a bear made by the extremely talented chainsaw artist Cherie Currie. Watch how the camera gets bumped near the end of this clip. A flying wood chip came flying through the air and brushed my arm before it landed a short distance behind me. This was filmed at the Infineon Race event on August 23, 2008.
OH YES IT IS!!!

I've just had a thought. Or rather, an image - of Cherie performing Cherry Bomb while wielding that chainsaw of hers. You wouldn't argue with that.
Okie dokie! Obviously the links on the previous posts no longer hyperlinked but you should be able to copy and paste them into your browser's address bar to see the videos.
This one should work as a direct link to the YouTube video. It was filmed at the Squeezebox 7th Anniversary on 5/18/01 at Don Hills in NYC. In this clip, former RUNAWAYS Cherie Currie and the late great Sandy West perform their classics "American Nights" and "Cherry Bomb" .
Thanks to KANDHFANNYC for making it available on YouTube!
