I'm very surprised at the cost: hand-painted furniture is a hot item on Nantucket, the cost for comparable furnishings is about three to five times higher than Currie's work, and the Nantucket crafts are not one-offs (no one-of-a-kind provision), nor as detailed. They tend to just be floral edging, not complete works in themselves. (No way in the world I'm showing these to my wife ....)

I am gratful for thr kind words. All I know is that these peices took me so much time and love.... each one of them. It's hard to put a price on something like that. All I do know is that I love doing this. Making something takes you to a special place. I am so glad that you like them.
