Last night I couldn't sleep. I have been fighting the flu and I think the Robitussin I took earlier in the day was keeping me awake. Anyway, I started to think about the people in my life and in my past. There are some people in our lives who just stand out, people who have touched us in such a deep way. When I met Cherie at Mara's (kisses, precious!!) wedding years back, it was VERY cool to say the least because I was (am!) a total Cherie and Joan fan. They were always my favorite Runaways. I have a soft spot in my heart for Sandy, too! Anyway, after meeting Cherie, it was so clear that she was more than just a cool rockin' chick. She was deep, she was magical, and her soul was very intense. She is so warm, so loving, and has the biggest golden angel wings that could wrap around anyone and make them feel that everything is okay.
Such a hot lil mama on the outside, but a loving "mom" on the inside - even before she even had Jake. She has been through **** and back. I know this has definitely made her the wonderful person she is today and I hope she never forgets that or loses sight of that. I hope she knows how many lives she has touched with just being herself, how generous her heart is, and how much so many people look up to her. I appreciate her so much. She is definitely a "big sister" to me.
So, what do you think is so special about Cherie?

Besides being beautiful and talented and besides being a down to earth, caring and friendly human being who possesses a super star/girl next door quality and the ability to turn the world on with her smile, Cherie also has that certain Jenesaisquoi!!!
To sum it up I'd have to say
Cherie is way cool, in every way!
Her fan,
Gus
