Yes i remember watching him when it was on and that was the second time ive ever watched the show. GReat singer even tho i dont care for or understand opera. Hate when i cant understand what someone is singing.lol But his voice is great and i wish him all the success in the world. Wonder if he had to take lessons or was it natural? Some people are great without any help and some need things shown. But that doesnt detract from their talent one iota! Good for him.

I saw the show when it first aired here in the UK. He was the deserved winner. A genuine,shy, humble, nice guy with a huge talent.. He has since had his teeth fixed and shed a little weight. I do hope his management will not attempt to change him too much. After all - it was these imperfections which endeared us to him in the first place.
