RARE Cherie 45s

Hi Cherie Currie fans,

After having received 'Beauty's Only Skin Deep' on cd today, I wanted to ask if anyone has two of Cherie's RAREST 45s (vinyl singles for you youngsters):

1) Beauty's Only Skin Deep - from Holland

2) This Time (w/Marie) - from Portugal - from what I understand, this has some weird looking picture sleeve.

If by chance anyone has either one of this singles, could you please either post a picture of the covers or describe what they look like and what the 'B' sides are. Just curious.

Thank you very much from posting those pictures!

I have (had) these same singles you posted as well.

What makes the above two singles soooo rare is that 'Beauty's Only Skin Deep' was only released as a single in a select few countries (it sold on E-Bay a few years ago for over $100.00), and 'This Time' from Portugal has some sort of 'freaky' picture sleeve (not like the one issued in Japan).

But thanks just the same for posting the pictures...loved your website as well!!

Dear Abbagod

I think I have the 'Beauty's only skin deep' single you are talking about.
You know that on the LP Cherie is squatting in profile, on this single the cover is a photo of her in the same outfit but face on -sort of crawling towards the photographer.
I can't remember what is on the b-side, but if I have occasion to go to the safe place where i think it is, I will look.
Don't expect that to be soon.
I have never heard of this Portuguese one.

Hi Roger,

I think maybe this was a poster. What was the picture of Cherie on the poster that was used in the Ramones' movie 'Rock n' Roll High School'. I think it was the pose from this picture sleeve.

I'll have to watch the dvd again...it's in the backround hanging on the door.
