I just posted this on Cherie's guest book at chainsawchick.com, seeing as how her new mermaid photos have been added to a photo album there now, too.
Cherie has finished the mermaid (playing an electric, in-layed guitar) for Kenny's Music Store in Dana Point. It's her tribute to Sandy West and she says its, by far, the best carving she has ever done. Stay tuned for information about the ribbon cutting ceremony that the mayor of Dana Point will be hosting. This dedication will occur sometime in June.

UPDATE
This memorial will be held at "Kenny's Music Store", 24731 La Plaza, Dana Point, CA. 92629 on Friday, June 26th at 1pm. His store number is 949-661-3984.
They will be blocking off the streets for this event and everyone is MORE then welcome. I'd love to meet you all in person.
