I was reading an article calling Courtney Love a female rock hero for our generation. Which generation is that? As a girl, I have to say that she is the LAST person I would consider a rock hero. So I am asking everyone. Who is the next female rock hero? Don't tell me Madonna, Alanis or anyone else who doesn't ROCK!!!

Well, obviously Cherie Currie!! Aside from the obvious, I?ve got one for ya. I read about this hard-rocker chick named Lennon in the Tennessean who got a record deal with Arista the week her mother died of a severe allergic reaction. She?s like 19 years old and beautiful, but tough and knows exactly what she wants and how to get it. Her story reminds me a lot of Shania Twain?s. MTV?s Kurt Loder is a big fan of hers ~ I don?t know if that?s how she got her record deal, but I checked her out online and I think she could be like another Kittie or Hole type, only better. theoracle - Lennon LOOKS a little like Morissette. She's touring with Buckcherry this summer - that's impressive.
