Kool info, I didn't know that. I make full use of our local library, as I read 1-2 books a week lately.
The previews of the new movie SAHARAH look interesting so I checked out the Clive Cussler Novel that the movie was based on. It is really exciting so far, but I expected it to be as I have been a Cussler fan for several years.
I am also in the middle of book four of "The Sword Of Truth" series "Temple Of The Wind", by Terry Goodkind. It's a Sci-Fi epic pitting Wizards and The Seeker of Truth against the Dream walkers of the underworld. I am totally involved in this series and can hardly put these books down.
There are at least 10 books in this series and luckily for me, our local library belong to inter-library loaning group so if the Local doesn't have a copy they can get one from a bunch of other libraries.
Several months back, before I was connected back to the internet, I had to rely on the library's bank of computers for my Cherie Messageboard fix.
I love my Library, and I am glad to honor all the workers involved during this week.

God Bless our Libraries! As a matter of fact, when I was a little kid, my local library got me a copy of "Crawdaddy, issue: October '76". I borrowed that issue that had been off the stands for a while from the library!
Anyway, two books I just read:
The first, I CANNOT RECCOMEND MORE: "Wake Up, I'm Fat" by Camryn Manheim. A truly inspiring book. I couldn't put it down, and finished it overnight. She is one great writer, and I'm grateful that she shared her perils with the world.
The second book is interesting, but a little brutal: "The Mole People", by Jennifer Tole. It's about communities of hundreds of people that live underground in Manhattan; Actually live in the old subway tunnels under the city; Have a mayor, use pipes for showers, send runners up for food. Unbelievable; Very sad (depending on how you look at it; they don't think it's sad)and fascinating.
Happy Library Week!
