Lost Runaways Treasure?

Hello CC Fans

I consider myself a Runaways fan but not
an expert I need some input, the last few
days I was bidding on ebay,what I thought
was a Runaways treasure a double live LP
set originally pressed in Germany album 1
live at the Starwood, and album 2 live
at the Santa Monica Auditorium . Stamped
with collectors edition coloured vinyl.
However yesterday I recieved an E mail
telling me it was yanked off ebay due to
(The intellectual property rights owner
notified them of copyright and or trade
marks infringement). And I was told by
ebay to avoid this transaction. (I will
of course. I smell a rat) Anyway could
any of you guys or gals tell me about
these albums they sound like something
that would make a great addition to a
collection.(under proper circumstances)

Hey Wolf.
The live at starwood lp is awesome - have had it forever. They do a cover of Shaun Cassidy's That's Rock and Roll which is worth the price alone. The Santa Monica lp is ok - sound quality is horrible.
Good luck - you may wanna try finding it at a record collector's show - that's where I got mine.

I'll keep a lookout I'm suppose to go to Toronto on business in June
lots of good places to look around. Used to live
there, Ill have to try and shake the wife loose
so I can disappear shopping. I don,t know about
live albums even the newer ones everyone has its
own "creative" mix and sound Quality!!!

Hi everyone, The Hawk here!
Since Jack has taken over the Run.Com board, Ihave more time to paruse the other boards!
In response to the "Originals" being yanked by e bay, I can tell you why.
It is a BOOTLEG
The band never got paid for it, it was never authorised, and I know that several web departments will pull these on a reg basis.

Trading, I think it's fine, but people that make money off the girls, that's not cool.

If people buy this stuff, it just encourages the bootlegers to make more.
Hopefully, Mercury, or someone, will get the masters, clean them up and license them, wouldn't that be cool!
