***3 Radio interviews THIS WEEK!***

We've got three radio appearances for you all to check out this week!

1) SANDY WEST LIVE on the ELECTRIC BALLROOM radio program, on station WRAT out on the East Coast (NJ).
Sandy will be on at 10:30 pm Eastern Time this Sunday, October 8th. (Boy George will be a guest as well, but they won't both be on at the same time!)
The Electric Ballroom radio program is the highest rated program of it's kind in the area and is syndicated here and there to other stations, and to 2 web stations including rocknrollstation.com which rebroadcasts the show twice a week.

2) CHERIE CURRIE and THE STREETWALKIN' CHEETAHS on www.rocknrollstation.com this Monday eve, October 9th, at 8pm Pacific Time.

Former Runaways singer Cherie Currie and Los Angeles punk rock n' rollers The Streetwalkin' Cheeteahs will be teaming up once again. The duo recorded a revved up version of the Runaways classic "Cherry Bomb" in 1998 for Bomp/Alive Records and have plans to cut a full-length album in 2001, but in the meantime you can catch them appearing live on rocknrollstation.com Monday night (11/9/00) at 8pm (PDT). They will be performing an acoustic version of "Cherry Bomb" and some Cheetahs songs. Then again, the Cheetahs will be joined by Cherie and Runaways drummer Sandy West in Portland, OR at Berbati's Pan on Saturday, October 14 (at 9pm) when the band opens for the Supersuckers.

3) CHERIE CURRIE and SANDY WEST on station KBOO out of Portland Oregon. Wednesday Oct 11th, 9:30 pm Pacific Time.
The girls will play some tunes and discuss their upcoming weekend at the Oregon Music Expo on Saturday & Sunday, Oct 14th & 15th. The ladies will also appear on stage with the Cheetahs on Saturday night (as mentioned above), who coincidently will be there on tour!

hope someone posts their 'critique' of Miss Currie's stint on rocknrollstation.com of 9 October but at the rate that people post on this site, i wouldn't hold out much hope.

i had to troll over to the joan jett website messageboard (see Runaways threads) to find a commentary on cherie's appearance on rocknrollstation.com - lo and behold, one was there!

very sad indeed. i do wish this messageboard was even just slightly more active.
