Ellie Greenwich dies

Sad news today as Ellie Greenwish, writer of some of pop's great songs, dies. I grew up hearing her songs - by The Crystals, Ronettes, etc.. - on the radio. As did one of my favourite bands, the New York Dolls, who were greatly influenced by her work - and not forgetting the Ramones. I know what I'll be listening to today.

I guess with the passing of Senator Kennedy, I had missed this. Thanks for passing along the sad news Paul. Ms. Greenwich was one of the great ones, for sure.
