I stopped by last night after fireworks (11'ish) but it looks like the fun was all done and Gus was looking to improve his swamp cooler output and the PartyGrrrlzzz were... well... PartyGrrrling I guess, in the penthouse of the Cosmopoliton Hotel, where the Champagne flows like a faucet and Meso... oh never mind. I hope you all have a wonderful 4th!

Well (deep subject) I had every (and I do mean every) intention of making the chat room scene last night. Wild horses couldn't drag me away was my single most uttered thought as the day moved forward toward the time of day, generally set aside for such things on the last day of each and every week, known as Chaturday, here in Cherie Land. My topics were plentiful and my fingers were stretched for what I was certain would be a chat to remember for years to come. The anticipation of having tons of fun with the most profusely interesting and audacious Cherie Peeps in this little thing I like to call the world was dwelling within me like never before and then.........
something suddenly came up, so I couldn't make it.

Did anyone else make it last night. Please let us know! I, for one, am really currieous, to say the least!

Seeing as how our niece is turning eleven and there was a birthday party, in celebratin of that fact, I attended it with gusto! Where them kids find their energy, in triple digit temps and high humidity, I have no idea. I was plum exhausted, by the time I arrived home and it was relatively late but I decided I'd check the chat room to see if, possibly, anyone was there and low and behold, Janet and Sportyfan were indeed there, conversating up a storm!
It was nice to chat with them, albeit briefly, about this and that and the other thing, for sure!

I have another birthday party next Chaturday but hopefully I'll get home a little earlier and there will be a FANtastic chat-o-rama, to be in attendance of.

Time will tell. It always does and I'm sure this will be no exception.
