Hopefully it was just a glitch Sporty! Hmmm? Did you change anything about your computer since the last time you chatted? Please try again and let me know if the same thing happens now and I'll see about checking the settings.
The PartyGrrrlzzzz and I chatted without any problems until about 9:31, at which time I believe they were bumped. I waited for a while to see if they'd return but they didn't, so I left, of my own accord, at approximately 9:37.

Let's hope next Chaturday the gang's all there, for tons of a litte thing I like to call fun!

From what I understand, Sportyfan had to use his laptop in order to chat last night but chat he did. With none other than the Partygrrrlzzz, Gregg and me!
I was a little bit late due to the fact that I was out getting my new car. Well, not new but new to me. It's a 1987 Buick Century with only 86,000 mile on it. It's in great condition and I could not be happier about being it's proud owner. It belonged to the little old lady, next door to my mom and she only drove it to church on Sundays and to the grocery store, down the street, occassionally.
Her children were moving her back east, since she couldn't take care of herself very well, anymore and when she mentioned she needed to sell the car my mom jumped at the opportunity and, using her latest Bingo winnings, she purchased it for yers truly and I can not believe I am so lucky. She is one awesome mom, for sure!
Well anyway, we had tons of fun in the chat room talking about my new car and all and I stuck around until 10:00 (eastern time) when I could not resist taking my sweet ride for a spin around the Old Pueblo.

Sorry i've missed ya'll been so busy but wanted to stop by and say i really do love ya'll and congratalation s Gus sounds like a really nice car i'm so happy for ya hope to talk this saturday with ya'll fine people.

Sorry we missed you Janet! Seeing as how the problems with the Bravenet Chat Room seem to be getting worse, we thought we would try the chat room at the California Paradise site.
You might want to try it and see how it works. Just click on the CHAT icon or scroll down to the bottom of the Front (Latest Activity) Page and you'll find the chat room.
You should be automatically logged in but if the little light is red, click on it. When it's green you are ready to chat.

Sportyfan and I went there tonight and it works really good.

The PartyGrrrlzzz, Gregg. Sportyfan and I were joined by the Canadian Wolverine last night and it was a good time, to say the least. Unfortunately the PartyGrrrlzzz got bumped and our Sweet Home Alabama Girl (Janet) could not get in, at all and for some reason Sporty CAN get in using his laptop but not using his PC.
These problems seem to be getting worse, so the idea of chatting at the new California Paradise chat room was discussed, as a possibility.
In fact, after the others had said goodnight, Sporty and I went there and tried it out.
It seemed to work really well, so we decided to suggest that everyone give it a shot.
So anyway, what do you say? Next Chaturday at 8:30 (eastern time) in the California Paradise chat room??? Just go to the site using the link in my signature below and then click on the CHAT icon or scroll down to the bottom of the Front (Latest Activity) Page and you'll find the chat room.
You should be automatically logged in but if the little light is red, click on it. When it's green you are ready to chat.

Well, we (NYJ, SPORTY, GREGG and I) did our chatting in the California Paradise Chat Room last night and it proved to be adequate. Like all chat rooms, however, there were a few improvements needed. I am going to see if I can change some settings and we will try it again next Chaturday at 8:30 (eastern time) and then we will decide if our regular chat room is better or worse, for having our tons of fun!

I changed the settings on CP, so you can either click on the top CHAT icon or access it from the bottom tool bar.
The chat room is not visible automatically anymore.

Had tons of fun in the California Paradise chat room last night, with NewYorkJettster, Sportyfan and Janet!
Still trying to improve that chat room and, also, trying to figure out the problems on our regular Bravenet (Cherie Currie) chat room as time marches on!

Anyway, we decided to meet in the California Paradise chat room again next Chaturday.
Hopefully I'll be able to get some answers from the Ning Team by then.

We had a pretty good chat last night at the California Paradise chat room.
NYJ, Sporty and I had tons of fun, for sure. We were joined, for a while, by a cool CP member name Mike Tangy.
I think the chat room works better now and seeing as how peeps have to click on the CHAT link to join in, it seems less likely that anyone is there just to lurk.
Anyway, I guess I am the only one able to clear messages. We tried that last night and the messages were gone. Ol Sparky notified me later that he was unable to see our messages, after we left, like he could before.
Not that anything super secret was being discussed but what happenes in the chat room, is supposed to be private.
NEXT CHATURDAY....let's do it again, why don't we!
