Our hearts go out to you Dawn.
Without the love there wouldn't be the pain and sorrow; your agony is the love.
But who would dare take the measure of another's pain? Or love?
Its too personal a thing; but we'd like you to feel less lonely with it all.
Take care, and talk here through it as much (or as little) as you like.
We are listening and here for you.

Dawn~ I'm so sorry to hear of your father's passing, it is a hard, very hard thing to go through. I know what you are going through, went through it with my dad, and it's heart breaking. And yes, it is great to have a bunch of wonderful people on this board to be able to talk to. We are all friends. You're in my thoughts and prayers! NewYorkJettster~

I just want to let everyone on this board know that I really feel this is a very special places to come and talked to people. I would like to also specially thank Gus. I just want to let you know the my Father passed away yesterday. We experienced the worst two and half days in our lives. Cancer is a very ugly thing and I would never want to go through what I went through again. And to everyone dealing with this or something like this my heart goes out to you all. Agian thanks for letting me talk about this.
With all my love
Dawn

Thank you all for your support. It has been really hard. My Mother is like a rock but I know that she will soon fall. I have been staying with her, until last night and I am trying to get some normal living back in my life but it is the first day I have been by myself and I am having a hard time with it. But when I come on here and read what you guys wrote really helps me out. Thank you again for all your support..
Love
Dawn

Dawn, I lost my mom about 6 years ago very suddenly. My Dad and her were going to be married 50 years that summer. He was/is lost without her. Everyone has there own healing time table. It will get better with time. Just remember all the postives your dad gave you and pass them on and then some. More impotantly be patient with your mom, she's needs you now more than ever.
Hang in there.
Charlie.

Hang in there, Dawn.
I lost my mother last November.
It has been the hardest and weirdest 2 months of my life.
Well, probably not weirdest
But it does get better with time.
It really does.
The things that help me the most are friends, music and working alot really got my mind off of things a bit.
Hang with people that have a good sense of humor - laughter is the best medicine.
Take Care,
- George
