Oh Gus!
Just follow the rules of the road.
Keep those eyes on the road and keep to the right except to pass.

Gus - I can relate to your experience and the one in Foxes (which I just watched last Saturday night for the 1st time - and loved it) even though it's never happened to me. Remember...keep your eyes on the road and your hands upon the wheel.

I was walking through a crowded shopping mall yesterday, heading toward the music store, when I saw what appeared to be the perfect specimen of women up ahead of me! She was walking in the same direction as me but at a slower pace so I was quickly qaining on her.
Her long blonde hair made me think "Cherie" and my mind went wild with the what ifs!
She was wearing some cool cowgirl boots and the lady definitely fit her blue jeans!
Could it be???? What if???? Wow!!!!
As I inched my way up along side her I pulled one of those "casual glance" numbers and then, just as I was realizing it was not Cherie, I ran smack dab into some guy who seemed to come out of nowhere!
"Why don't you watch where you're going," he barked! "Sorry dude" was all I could say.
I was painfully aware that the aforementioned blonde was laughing hysterically as I helped the guy pick up some stuff he had managed to drop.
As she disappeared into Frederick's and I continued on my way I couldn't help being reminded of my previous "shopping incident" which I mentioned a couple years ago, and wondering if I should mention this incident here too. It IS embarrassing and yet it reminds me of the scene in FOXES when Cherie (as Annie) is shopping and has the same affect on that one dude!
I can so relate to that ungainly fellow when it comes to Cherie!
So, that's my story then. I could have kept it to myself but since you are my friends and fellow Cherie Fans, I figgered I'd share it with you all today!
