I had a lot of fun with the previous poll so I started thinking, Hey.....
Maybe I should do another poll right about now. [img]graemlins/hmmm.gif[/img]
So I now can't help wondering which song from 'Queens Of Noise' is the most popular amoungst you! If you'd care to share your reason and/or tell us what your second favorite is, or otherwise discuss THESE fantastic songs, please do!
They are all great songs by a GREAT band but my favorite has gotta be California Paradise!
Tied for second place: Midnight Music and Heartbeat!

Heartbeat is my favorite on that album. Overall, my favorite material is from the first album but I've noticed that something about the vocal chorus tracks are markedly different on 'Queens of Noise'. I have a hunch that Kim Fowley was shooting for an 'Abba' sound since they were the popular thing on the air waves at the time. I should ask Cherie.

Well.. [img]biggrin.gif[/img] ..It looks like, the way things are going with this here Queens Of Noise poll, California Paradise will become, undisputably, the MOST POPULAR of these GRRRRREAT Runaways songs!
It IS one FANtastic song without a doubt and Cherie's voice fits like a glove.
Of coarse her voice fits every song she sings like a glove but does that mean her hand fits every glove she wears like a song? [img]graemlins/hmmm.gif[/img]

Hey there all,

Personaly its realy hard to pick my favorite song, because all the songs on the Queens Of Noise had so much feeling and energy behind them. I was and still am deeply influanced and affected by them.

Heartbeat takes the cake for me, followed closely by Midnight Music. I also love the way it ends with Johnny Guitar. Overall I think I like more of the songs on this record than the first. And once again, I love Cherie's vocals.

[img]tongue.gif[/img] It looks like a dead heat now between California Paradise and Heartbeat! An awesome turn of events I must say! I just listened to them both again and can certainly see why so many people love Heartbeat! I love it too and could have been equally comfortable voting for it instead of California Paradise but I do really love that one too. It just goes to show you, it's gosh darn hard to pick a favorite song when Cherie Currie is doing the singing!

Oh btw, welcome to the board ViperVon! I'm glad we got a chance to chat last night in the chat room too!
