You I just had a lot of time to think about this recently and I thought I'd throw the question out to all of you to answer...

Why is it you no longer hear anyone say the following:

"Go ahead...It's a Free Country !".....

Input please....

Still hoping someday 'politics' will graduate beyond left&right, Dem&Rep, right&wrong. Cause neither seems to know how to run the country seperately.

I always imagine Bush away from the media suddenly turning into the 'Goliath' dog from those 70's Sun-morning religious claymations. Turning to his aides, "Gowsh, what should I do now, Da-vey?" and getting bad advice from everyone.

Democrats aren't much better. Remember their "Promise" to turn-around & correct the country in 100-days after taking contol of the Senate? That was, umm, about 8-months ago? Nothing has happened because they're too busy bickering for their own lil pork-barrel compensations.

I have noticed that the republicans put up road blocks alot and then the democrats lose steam and nothing gets done.
Same as it ever was!
That fiasco the other night, when 100 republicans walked out of the debate, in the house of reps, was a perfect example, of how bad it's gotten!

I'm afraid the damage being done by the bush administration is unfixable and THAT is part of the neo-con's plan.

I do still hear "it's a free country" once in a while but, soon, when they declare marshall law, I doubt I'll hear it again!

I think the Guster is right. Remember how people used to moan about how the country was going down the tubes whenever a tv show they idnt agree with like "Married with children"was on. Guess what? I can and always seems to slide downhill, not up. It goes for culture ,politics, etc. And the way our luck is going it will be one of bushes cronies who gets in or some idiot on "our side" lol that will guarantee us another"Bush" when they get out of office!Unfortunatly , this might be our "good old days".Thank God for prozac!

Let's hope so Cherie but I think there's a good chance that 2008 will be the SS DD when it comes to the political scene....

It looks like our troops will stay in Iraq for quite some time and whoever occupies the White House will find some excuse to keep the same s**t going to fight "The War On Terror" and put the Bill of Rights and US Constitution in the shredded while the American Sheeple are too busy buying SUV's, watching their Plasma TV's, and taking care of their Money Market Funds better than their children....

Speaking of which, go to these links and print them out for yourself and several friends !
