Across The Galaxy!

Standing on the cresent moon
gazing at a certain star
a star unlike the others that accrue
The earth below is spinning so
you'd not believe how beautiful
it all appears from this guys point of view!

Carried on celestial winds
I'm moving toward the light
from that star so far out of my reach
and as I race through velvet space
dreaming of a face to face
it's an interstellar closing of the breach!

The distance I'll be travelin'
may not get me all that far
but so long as I am closer I'll decree
I've gotta do what I've gotta do
proclaiming, thus, my aim is true
as I swiftly journey 'cross the galaxy!
