Be careful out there un cali, Val. Gus it's a good thing your brother can swim. The Big Easy got pretty soaked. Thanks Cat the stones should be a good time. I went to the bottom line club in NYC last night. Cherie, it would be a great room for you if you come back to the east coast for some shows at some point..hint hint.
I saw the ed palermo big band play the music of Frank Zappa, it was incredible. Enjoy your weekend folks we all dererve a good one.

Good Morning Everyone
Fire update- Its now 35% contained but still threatening Mt Baldy Village. The cooler weather is helping greatly.
It should be nice and cool now for Cherie to crave up there on the moutain
Nothing special planned for the weekend so far.
I hope that all of you have a great and safe weekend.

Coffee is a magnet and I am steel
Coffee is a flame and I'm a moth
Coffee is needed in a real big way today
Coffee smells good like it should
Coffee wakes my *** up
Coffee indeed is what I need now more than usual!
Sorry folks. Late night last night though.
All I can think of is COFFEE

Good sunday morning folks. It's amazing on the east coast today. Clear sky, crisp air.
The stones were amazing a 2 hour set that was "blazing". Our aging friends from the UK are still a strong serious road band. The Pretenders opened and they could have headlined themselves. The crowd was warm and loved them. I was happy about that. I have seen some shows where the opening acts get thrown to the wolves.
For example any NY Jett fans remember a new years eve show at the ritz when Joan had a comedian open up?? The dude lasted all of 10 or 15 minutes.

Good morning everyone!
Hope your weekends are going well
Charlie> The Stones just keep on Rolling! They ARE rock and roll and I like 'em alot!
I wish Brian had made it through. He was the coolest Stone in the early days! IMO!
When I saw Chrissie Hynde's buddy Ray Davies and the Kinks the opening act was 'Moon Martin' and the audience was NOT thrilled!
Have a great Sunday,
