OK, I heard taht Spinal Tap was released on laserdisc with commentary and Cherie's scenes (or at least some of them). And I also heard it was coming to DVD. My questions are 1) Is the DVD out? and 2) if so, is it the same as the laserdisc release or is there more (or less)?
BTW, the guy who told me about the laserdisc is Dale Sherman who I worked with a little bit on his Alice Cooper Collectors Guide. He has a "Women in Rock" book finished and about to be published. There's sections on Joan, Lita and in the end about all-girl groups The Runaways. He says he writes good things about Messin' with The Boys.

Your wish is my command. I found the official Spinal Tap site at http://www.mgm.com/spinaltap/home.html and see the DVD is scheduled for September release with "new audio commentary by Spinal Tap, one HOUR of deleted scenes, 5.1 stereo remixed by the band, new digital transfer and lot's more". The special edition will also be released on VHS. Can't wait!
They also had a few outtakes' clips online there. It didn't look like any of them would have you in them. I'll just have to wait.
Love,

That's great news.
I love my DVD player.
Never mind that this is one of the best rock related movies, it's one of the best movies period!
Looking forward to this.

That is correct RocketMaster. And promotion for the release is good. Spinal Tap will be on Rockline on August 30th. See http://drchuck.net/rockline
And I've seen TV commercials promoting the Guitar Center 30th Anniversary Sweepstakes featuring Spinal Tap in the commercial and prizes including tickets to see ST in Hollywood and signed copies of the DVD/video. See http://www.guitarcenter.com
Can't wait to see more of the beautiful Ms. Currie! The rest of the movie will be great also.

Check out this great Spinal Tap link, has an adorable pic of Miss Vickie Blue snuggling in bed with the bass player she was snogging with throughout the film!
Love it!

The Spinal Tap DVD came out on tuesday. There were only two scenes that I noticed Cherie was definitely in and they are in the "Rare Tap Materials" section, chapters 3 & 5. It looked like she might have been in the "Heavy Metal Memories" commercial and the "Cheese Rolling" promo spot. Do you rememeber these scenes Cherie???
There were quite a few extra scenes with Vicki in the later chapters of "Rare Tap Materials" (chapters 8/9/10/11).
