Okay, I could swear that i once heard a story about how Patti Smith was nasty to The Runaways. WELL! The other day, I was getting ready at work--I'm a waiter in NYC, and the whole front of the restaurant is open windows...I was listening to Patti Smith's "Radio Ethiopia", and then "Queens of Noise", in that order. I was looking out the window, and all of a sudden, Patti Smith is walking by eating an ice cream cone...Well, I got all excited, I was like "Hey, Patti! I was just listening to Ask the Angels!!!!!" And she kept walking and licking the cone and just sort of rolled her eyes back and me and growled or snarled...I was thinking she probably went home and wrote a poem about me called "idiot boy" or something....she had on one green sock and one purple...

Holy Frijoles, Jett Ford! That IS crazy!

This one time, when I lived in NYC, I worked at this bookstore on w. 8th street. And this chick comes in, and I'm thinking to myself.... "God She's pretty! She looks JUST LIKE Liv Tyler!"

So I run downstairs and tell my friend, "I just saw this girl.... who looked JUST like..." yadda yadda. My friend goes "That WAS Liv Tyler, **** !"

I hear this snickering behind me.... I turn to find Ric Ocasik laughing at me.

How embarrassing! Not as ironic as your story, though! [img]wink.gif[/img]
