Hey folks,
So many great songs get used in TV commercials these day.
I was just wondering which of these Cherie Currie songs you'd
like to see used in that matter!

Anything, so long as it doesn't involve Quiznos & those dentally malformed guitar-playing rats!

My basic instinct is to vote 'None Of The Above' because I've seen too many great songs abused just to sell some cheezy products, but Cherry Bomb in a new Cherry Cola Commercial might draw a lot of attention to Cherie and The Runaways so I HAD to vote that way!
I love ch-ch-ch-cherry cola too!

I voted for the Cherry Cola commercial too!
I found out what those darn rats are from Quiznos...They are called Sponge Monkies. They originated in Britian (i think).
You can download their "orignal" song off the internet.
I would be happy if they would just go away!
But anyways, back to the subject at hand....
Cherry Bomb is one of my all time favs. I would love to see it in a commercial (or at least on T.V. again to bring it back).

Gus had the best idea yet, "none of the above". Paul MacCartny is still stinging about giving giving Michael Jackson the idea of purchasing catalogs, then he out-bid Paul for the Beatles catalog!

Good point Reved! I've never frogiven Jackson for that dastardly deed!
The Beatles turned down numerous 'big money' offers because they never wanted their music used in such a manner.
Interestingly enough, from what I understand, because John died his half of the publishing rights are automatically reinstated 25 years after their initial implementation. Yoko knew this at the time and therefore didn't enthusiastically help Macca when he was bidding on them!
She is a shrewed businesswomen and has done an excellent job managing the Lennon estate AND John's legend!
