How lucky we be
First a visit from Katt
Then Mara stops by
This is where it’s at
Cherie is surrounded by fans
All awaiting the Chainsaw chick
And a chance to view her art
By pointing the mouse and a click
Ohhh's and Ahhhh's I’ve heard
And my eyes do not deceive
At the magic from God's wood
That Cherie can conceive
Below that hair of gold
Where a wonderful vision lies
To take from a tree some magic
And deliver it before our eyes
Your voice has thrilled my ears
Celluloid movement, eye appeal
Your story caused tears to flow
And now an art form that looks so real
You are one of God's Angels
That he has truly blest
Every day is written anew
Cherie I can't wait for the rest

Darling Mara,
You did such a great job on The ChainsawChick.Com Web Site! Thankyou thankyou thankyou!
You deserve a great big group hug from all of us here on Cherie's Message Board and her fans worldwide!
I knew she was involved in something she loved doing and I knew she was creating wonderful works of art. It is just FANtastic to be able to see them. I am ONE happy CCamper now, 4 sure!
The leafy trees background was just the right change too. The Web Site looks el perfecto now!

Chainsaw Chick
Her ART is really slick
I guess that you could say it is her bailiwick
The majesty she shares
sure gets alot of stares
'cause people are amazed with her sea turtles and her bears
Carving 'neath the sun
her work is never done
one masterpiece is finished and she starts another one
Mermaids and racoons
fill her afternoons
ain't none of CC's critters could be called picayunes
Imagine seeing a log
turn into a dog
right before your eyes and you'll see why I'm all agog

I took a quick glance but I'll spend some time checking out the new web site in the morning. I love those bears I saw but I am really tired.
I hate working nights!

What a great website. That is a talent that is very impressive. My uncle tried it many years ago and I think he went back to just hand craving. I also wanted to let you know Cherie that at the company that I work for, they have safety glasses that are really neat looking. They are wrap around ones that are not so squared around the eyes. Also some working gloves as well. If you are intrested in them let me know and I will send them to you. Just that the glasses have our company logo on them. Anyway just let me know.
Take care

After a good nights sleep I went straight to the Chainsaw Chick site and I have to say that I agree with everyone else. It all looks superb. Great work Cherie and thanks for sharing your art world with us. I love those fishing bears and all the rest too.
You look great on your painted motorcycle!

Yo Ella!
I guess we were both in a writing mood last night. Just think...We could have penned our very first GUSELLA poem in the chat room whilst we were in there!
Oh well, too late now but that CCollaboration could have been glorious!
I like your solo effort anyway though!
More later my friend,

Thanks for the thumbs up, Mr Danger. Great minds think alike, I guess. My poem didn't start out as a poem it was a tired mind, trying to make short coherent phrases that turned into a rhyme, that turned into verse, that turned into a poem. If you would like to collaborate some night, I would be more than happy to give it a try, Could be a load of....fun
Cherie, I have a couple of questions, If you don't mind.
1)The wood that you use, do you actually go out and pick your tree, or do you buy the logs commercially?
2)You mentioned some types of wood producing sap or gum, Is there a curing period before you attempt to sculpt them?
