The C.C. Fever!!!

Well now I keep on singing 'bout C.C.
She fills my repertoire as a rule
The reason why I'm singing 'bout C.C.
is 'cause their ain't nobody quite so cool
and I've got the C.C. Fever
but hear me when I say
when you share my affliction
you'll understand I'm A-Okay

The fever is so higly contagious
caught it when she first came along
and for me it seems that one of the symptoms
is singing lots of C.C. songs
yeah, I've got the C.C. Fever
and my guitar has caught it too
and since we're in this condition
what else are we s'posed to do

Well, I went to see my doctor. He said it's all in my head.
I told him he was crazy 'cause it's in my heart instead!!!!
I've got the C.C. Fever
I've got it bad as it can be
and when it comes to C.C. Fever
I don't want a remedy

So I'll just keep on singing 'bout C.C.
suffering for my art to be sure
and it may be my own self diagnosis
but I've got it and there ain't no cure
I've got the C.C. Fever
and I will have, come what may
however if you have been stricken
you'll understand I'm A-Okay
