Wow...Cherie is singing Jake's song...I love it - very beautiful and not too ballad-y at all - Cherie puts the right amount of UMMPH in it!

Excellent playing, Jake! And Cherie, good lord, girl, put down the chainsaw for a minute and grab that mic again for a while!!!!! WOW. You guys ROCK!!

    Sheri (again!)

Cherie showed up at Indy 103.1 with a small entourage consisting of son Jake, Robert Hayes and Photographer Brad Elterman.
Cherie and Jake jumped in like pros as Steve started off by asking Jake about his favorite bands, at which point he gave a plug to Trevor & Hydra. Turns out Jake has only been playing guitar for about 8 months.
After a break they returned to the interview discussing Kenny Laguna (who had called in, saying he was listening),the early days of the Runaways, Joan, Lita, And that persistent rumor about a reunion, Kim Fowleys name came up after Steve mentioned seeing Mayor of Sunset Strip.
Steve then paused for a Commercial break during which Jake & Steve ran through the chords for Cherry Bomb. When They Came back Steve asked Jake to count it off as they launched into the unplugged version. It was awesome but too short Cherie was a proud mommy as she praised Jake at the conclusion.
Steve took another music break about a Quarter to the hour, When he came back from Rick Springfields Jessie's Girl. Cherie mentioned that Kim Fowley had "introduced her to Rick. Details will be in the New Book. She got in a nice plug for Cheiecurrie.com.
They sent out some "private messages" to Joan coz she was listening.
Jake turns 14 on Tuesday, Wants an I-Pod for his b-day,
Cherie introduced the last song as a ballady thing written by Jake.
They ended the show with a live version of American Nights.
The hour went by way to fast. Hats off to Cherie and Jake for a very entertaining show.

I tried to give the highlights, I missed bits here and there, but it gives ya an idea about this rare appearance
