Yesterday was world's Day of awareness about AIDS, I would like to dedicate that day to Paolo. I never met someone with AIDS before, I knew him last year while I was in hospital day and night to help my uncle who had a lung desease and later died. In the same room there was Paolo,22 years old,a lot younger than me. He told me about his story and his going in and out of the hospital several times in the last years. I truly admired him, he was going through pain and yet was always smiling and kind to the nurses. He died some months ago with the dignity of always, he taught me that it isn't a negative thing if we cry, because he knew I kind of keep everything inside when things are bad, he taught me to show my feelings and though I still never talk about LOVE and I hardly use the word "love" with anybody, I owe him a lot of things I learned in this life. Ciao Paolo

So sorry to hear about the loss of your friend Cristina. You are not alone with that kind of loss....AIDS has touched us all.
But I do want to say 'I love you' you darling girl..... Those words are so much easier to say when you say them with your [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and you say them often. Thanks for sharing baby.

Hi Christina,
that reminds me of my grandma who died on cancer years ago. Physically she was not feeling well, but she was always smiling and had kind word for us. She never said any bad word or did mourn, because of her illness.
I guess we can learn a lot from these people and have to try not to forget what they gave to us- lots of love and the believing in life, no matter how hard it is!
Love, Ute

Love is real, real is love
Love is feeling, feeling love
Love is wanting to be loved
Love is touch, touch is love
Love is reaching, reaching love
Love is asking to be loved
Love is you
You and me
Love is knowing
We can be
Love is free, free is love
Love is living, living love
Love is needing to be loved
I'm very sorry for your loss Cristina!
Cherie said it best but I thought I'd share
some John Lennon lyrics with you anyway!
ALL you need is love! //oo\\
Those are words I live by but I also believe
it's more important to give love than to receive it!
Peace and LOVE!
