Hi
I just discovered the BBC series "Absolutely Fabulous" and I'm amazed of how such negative carachters can be funny, or is our mind a little bit twisted?
Anyway this series never got to italian TV and I discovered it just because some time ago I was looking in E-bay for something on Joanna Lumley who was my major idol when I was a kid and she did "The new avengers". Great find, I guess, do you know this series?

Ha! Aren't those two "ladies" disgusting??!!! FUNNY tho - ha! I SO feel for the DAUGHTER. I used to watch this all the time, but don't have much time for TV these days!

I've seen the show a couple times. Pretty funny, 4 sure!

i LOVE them! Most of all, I love the fact that Jennifer Saunders, aka Edina Monsoon, wrote and produced the series herself (with her comedy partner, Dawn French, herself not in the series). It's nice to see an artist make their own work and get it out there. Inspiring!

Jennifer Saunders is brilliant, I just finished to watch the series 2 DVD. By the way, I must say that subtitles are a GREAT invention!!!! I'm used to hear more american english and I understand a little of it, both by intuition and by going to see the dictianary, but the impact with UK english has been TOUGH!!! so thank God for the subtitles,a great help [img]eek.gif[/img]
