Congrats Cherie!
You are doing GRRREAT!
I'm so glad to hear you are giving up those cancer sticks!
Who needs a tumor causing, teeth staining, smelly, puking habit.
Not to mention the money you will save!
Keep on keeping on,
my dear friend!

Stick with it Cherie. I think it is Buddhism that says that addiction has a personality - and not one that has your best interests at heart. It waits till you're feeling less than 100% and then tries to convince you that the addictive substance is just what you need to make you feel better. Usually it is the lack of the addictive substance that has made you feel bad in the first place. You can beat it.

Wanted you all to know that this is my tenth day without them. Can't tell you how much better I feel. They have been a struggle for years... everyday knowing that they had to go but what a nagging addiction! They are worse then anythng I've encountered.
I'm using the patch and they work very well!
So come on all you people still on the cigarette train!! Time to ditch those puppies and get on with a better, cleaner and more satisfying life!
If I can do it.. ANYONE can!!!!
Looking forward to seeing my son be all he can be.. this way the cards are not stacked against me!
Special thanks to Dr. David Law (Lungman) for all his support!
Love ya David!!

Cherie, I'm glad to hear that you've decided to kick the habit. Most people I've known that use the patch have an easier time giving them up. At least now Jake won't have to hide them from you like he did at Don Hill's, LOL. Best of luck and we'll all be pulling for you!

Hey Cherie,
That is so cool that you decided to stop smoking. I have a lot of respect for those that do. I have never been a smoker but everyone in my family has or is. My sister is the only one who has stopped. Smoking in my neck of the woods isn't cool anymore. You are no longer allowed to smoke in bars and resturant's. And at my work they do not hire anyone who smokes and starting next year there will be no smoking allowed on the property at work. They Grandfathered those in that already smoked but they are paying for them to quit so more and more are quitting. So once again more power to ya and I will keep you in my prayers that you continue...
Oh and I am trying to send you some new safety glasses that I have...
Love ya
Dawn
