Ive been to the funeral of a family friend who had throat cancer. He was a professional drummer in country music for some years. His daughter told me what that "dickie" was that was pulled up around his jaw or what was left of it was.Not a pretty sight.

How's it going Cherie? Still hangin' in there?
I quit smoking on Christmas. It is hard at first, but it gets easier every day.
Stay strong girlfriend!

I only would have one issue with the patch. It might not jibe with my other smoking habit.

I don't smoke 'the other stuff' but I'm sure that it would not be a problem with the patch... No excuses baby! You have the hand to mouth thing covered!! Kick the cig's to the curb!

The only thing you give up when you quit smoking are the things you disliked most about yourself...

This friday will be three weeks and I feel fantastic!! It's so nice to walk into a store or restaurant and not be self conscience about stinking up the place.. and my skin!! It looks like years are falling off my face with every new day. I have more energy and sleep better too. Speaking of sleep.. the patch give you amazing and vivid dreams!! You remember them all when you wake. I also found that you can wear the same patch for days at a time and they work great. It's a ripe off to wear one a day when you should just leave it there till you feel it's time to change it. Then you cut them in half when you feel they are too strong (because you're weaning off through days of waring the same patch) I'm on my last half patch (on day three with this one) and won't be using them anymore.. It's like a natural 'step down method' when you do it that way. I'll sure miss the dreams though!!
Love you all!!
