I'm not sure where you live Cherie but I assume near your gallery in Chatsworth! Reports have fires from SanDiego, North of L.A.,Simi valley.
I sure hope you and your entire family are safe!
Good luck out there!
Take Care,
Gregg

Chatsworth is east of Thousand Oaks, and south of Simi Valley.
I also send my prayers and good thoughts.

We live in Laguna Beach. The fires are now about 15miles to the south of us and 10miles to the east. You can taste the smoke in the house, even. The sun looks bright red through the haze.
One million people have been evacuated in San Diego county and the hotels in Laguna are packed.
The good news is the winds have died down and should reverse in the next 24 to 48 hrs bringing moist ocean air on shore. The damage is done, however.
His excellency George W is to visit Orange and Sand Diego counties today. Whoopie. What a big help that is!!

I am geographically challenged but the reports I am hearing say from San Diego to Malibu, the fires are raging.
Where, exactly is Malibu?
I hope you and your family are all safe Cherie and your gallery is not in the danger zone!
My thoughts and prayers go out to those who are suffering through this and to the brave souls who are fighting these fires!
