Thanksgiving Day Traditions...

I thought it would be fun to start a Thanksgiving topic since we have only 23 dayzzz left til bird day is actually here [img]tongue.gif[/img] to share Thanksgiving recipes and Traditions of just how we celebrate the holiday. I will put my post up a little later today. [img]wink.gif[/img]

I put sweet basil and oregano in my standard turkey dressing. I generally make my own croutons from wheat bread. I'm not much of a white bread person.

Here's just one of my favorites for BIRD day!

Green Bean Casserole

1- can cream of Mushroom Soup
4- cups cooked green beans
1/8- teaspoon of pepper
3/4- cup of milk
1 1/3- cups of fried onions

Mix soup, milk and pepper in a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Stir in beans and 2/3 cups of fried onions.
Bake 25 mins @ 350 degree's F
Top with remaining onions and bake until onions are lightly browned.

Serves 6
