Japan Beauty's Only Skin Deep on Ebay

Hi All: I saw this on EBAY, and Lord knows I can't afford it now, but it's nice to look at! I've never seen this record with an insert before, my copy (a "Jem" import, not sure where it's imported from)just had a plain white insert. Anyway, if you want to see a picture of the Japanese version, here it is. Cherie as beautiful as ever!

Great find JettFord! I had no idea. I want that import now!!!
Maybe that insert photo will be included with the US version
of the CD, which is supposed to come out this year! I hope so!
That IS a slightly different photo than the one on the cover, isn't it?

When is this "US release of BEAUTY'S ONLY SKIN DEEP" scheduled for? I got release dates for cds all the way up through Sept (new and re-issues) and there is absolutely no listing for it at all.

Are people still holding out for it and not buying the Cherry Red reissue? That would explain the lack of talk of the cd here.

Where have you been?? Glad to see that you've 're-surfaced'. Yeah, this Japanese album has been on E-Bay several times over the past year. I got my copy back in the early 90's. Surprising to hear that some of Cherie's fans are unfamiliar with the insert??

Anyway, it is most likely where Cherry Red obtained the lyrics for their booklet (from the insert of this Japanese release). I sure am NOT holding my breathe for a U.S. release. It took me 13 years to find 'Beauty's Only Skin Deep' on vinyl and then another 13 years to get it on cd.

We should take what we can get and be happy with that.

Hey-wha's up ABBAGOD!!! Yeah, I was gone for awhile, I'll private message you and tell you why. I also had that Japan album with the insert. I sold it on ebay awhile ago...I can't imagine waiting on the USA release of this cd when it's so easily available now. Who knows, the USA version may never come out and what if the CHERRY RED version goes out of print? Oh well, I got mine.

I HAVE received my Cherry Red CD and I really enjoy it!
I'm sure rocketmaster will let us know if the US release has been canceled....GOD, I hope not!!!
