I got a real person, but couldn't tell by the voice if it was Deisel or not. I jokingly explained how I got the number, and if it was accurate or Internet-Bullshit, heard a few mumbled voices in the background, and was disconnected.

Fuckit, I wouldn't be too happy if my number was public-knowledge either....

We've got tons of those types emailing, calling, and 'just dropping by' far too often. We get around 30 requests for free autographed 8x10s per day, (multiply that by a guess on postage costs alone to countries all over the world)...if they're not the "biggest fan" they're suffering from some grave misfortune. All in all, we receive around 600 emails per day ~ all our artists, new submissions, and licensing queries included. Maybe 2-3 telephone calls per day are fans pretending to be friends with the artist or pretending to work for a magazine wanting to talk to them.
