Hi all, I'm new here. I have a question that has been bugging me for AGES. I saw Last House, many years ago, and I am positive Krug used his Cigar to prompt Phyllis to wet her pants. Does anyone know if this was a scene which was cut? Thanks in advance for any replies.

Wow, never heard that one before, although I'd really like to see that version if it exists. They say (by they I mean Craven) that the US DVD release is the most complete version available, although I don't think he actually says that it's the most complete version ever shown. This film has been cut so many times over the years that I really wouldn't doubt it, although this incident sounds like something that wouldn't need to be cut. Anybody know?

Well, I remember the Cigar held to her crotch to make her wet her pants, so maybe that's why it was cut, unless I'm going nuts, and it never happened. It makes sense, though, a guy who is constantly chomping on a Cigar using it to torture her. The US DVD feels really cut, like a lot of the important sadistic action in the woods was taken out. I recall it being more brutal, but maybe that's just the passage of time...A shame this film got hacked up, it was really effective on the first viewing way back when. Great acting by Krug and Co.

I thought the version I originally saw was going to be uncut, as it was rented back in the late-80's from a porn store where the guy behind the counter didn't seem to mind 'young-teens' browsing through titles. Guess he was a horror-fan too, as he just lit-up when I rented 'Cannibal Apocalypse'. Weird porn-store, as right next to a hardcore fisting-porn like 'Piggies' (a XXX version of Porky's, minus the humor) or 70's plot-driven FILM-porn like 'Lust on The Orient Express' would be non-porn Italian and German horror movies. That's where I first discovered the likes of Argento and Deodato movies.

Even back then, the 'torture' scenes looked choppy any badly edited. Who knows what the hell I saw...

You'd have to ask someone who was there 35-years ago, like Marc, Fred, or say,...DAVID?

This is the first I've heard of the cigar playing a role in the urination scene but who knows? The short answer is if you saw the film at any point after 1976 or so you've only seen a cut version. The long answer is, well, really long.

Thanks for the replies. Maybe the cigar scene happened in the OTHER movie I saw LHOTL with, some kind of biker/slasher film. Damn. How many forced-unination scenes can there be out there? Sick Mothers!
