It is on dvd, you big silly.
Any news on an upcoming Body Count DVD? I loved the Hitch Hike, Last House, and HOTEOTP DVD's and didn't know if Body Count will be coming out soon?

Yes... region 2.
It is? Wait, is it a different region dvd?
It is already available on German DVD, but it's recently been released in the United Kingdom by a cheapo company known as Hollywood DVD who have released a version that is sadly pre-cut with a '15' certificate.
As for this company, the quality of their DVDs are an abomination generally.
Here is a link to the recent BBFC classification of the movie.
Hmmm... I'm a little confused...
I have a region 2 DVD of Body Count. It was released by Hollywood DVD early this year (2003). According to the packaging, it's rated 18, with an 83 minute running time. Is this DVD uncut?

I'm sure you would have noticed all of the jumbly cuts and in-conclusive events during the film...
I'm not some idiot gorehound, but I do get upset at 'stupid cuts' that just tear a movie to shreds. I mean "one minute girl is standing there... blurry swipe ... CUT ... girl has unexplained axe in head". I can't remember if that's an exact take, but just a generalisation.
Ironically, that sort of 'pointless' killing that comes across would be more harmful to 'warping minds' than a fully explained on-screen death. The censors can put that in their pipe and smoke it!
This film just cries for "Anchor Bay" treatment.
