Arnold for Governor

David, what is your take on Arnold Schwarzenegger running for governor? I know he's Republican but his views seem to be more of a Democrat to me such as pro-abortion, pro immigrantion, higher taxes, socialized health care, etc.

Are there any actors you would rather see run?

Everyone's an actor...at least we all try to be from time to time. As to Arnold: It's tough to say how much he knows about running a state...budgetary problems, health and welfare etc., but he sure knows how to manage a movie budget and get the most for the money and he talks a good show in terms of allowing the voting public to influence what he does in the way of running our now broke state. So I'll give him a chance. He certainly can't be any worse than who we have now and the rest of the cast are rank and file professional politico's. I like Arianna Huffington, also, but Arnold is connected to the Kennedy philosophy through Maria Shriver, his wife, and I don't think she'll let him get too far afield in his agenda.
