    David, have a great 4th of July! How do you like to spend the 4th? My wife and I eat a ton of food, let off fireworks, and then catch a flick on T-Bo.

    Adam,
    Thanks for the thought. Hiking...taking in the silence in areas that are usually filled with noise. Watching the parade pass me by...The ubiquitous barbecue with family and friends. The eventide pyrotechnics from across the bay...The whole of the bay area lights up and is usually spectacular. Barges galore and lots of partying for those that need the rush. It's patently an American celebration. Not necessarily for that which we are about to do, but that which we did to make us the unique nation that we are.
